Welcome to the KARP Website!
We are glad you are here. The Kentucky Association of Regional Mental Health and Mental Retardation Programs, Inc. (KARP) represents the Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The CMHCs are the behavioral health public safety net for those individuals who require mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse services. KARP's role is to strengthen these centers by working alongside member organizations to prioritize the essential human services being offered by the CMHCs.
We hope you will find this website helpful in obtaining information regarding our members and mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities and substance abuse services and supports in your community.
